Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has revealed that Vizag will become the new capital city of the state. He spoke in the International Diplomatic Alliance Meet in New Delhi.
“I I am pleased to welcome you to Visakhapatnam as our capital. I’ll also be moving into Vizag,” said the Andhra Pradesh CM.
“I would like to invite you and your colleagues to discover yourself how easy it is to conduct things within Andhra Pradesh,” CM Reddy stated.

The capital city of Andhra Pradesh has been changed to Visakhapatnam (Vizag). The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced an announcement on the official change to the designation of the Capital City. In the past, Amravati was the capital city in the state.
As a state that was a combination, Hyderabad was the capital of the state. Following the creation of Telangana as a state distinct from the rest of the country, Hyderabad was termed to be the capital in the state over a period of 10 years.
Following that states declared Amaravati as a city to develop to become the capital of the state. The administrative base was moved to Amravati for the maximum number of departments.

As the state’s headquarters, it will also serve as the place of residence for the governor of the state The legislature will be based in Amaravati. the high court for Andhra Pradesh will be moved to Kurnool.
